On Phangan there is large variety of bungalows, starting from small bungalows near the hillside to first class airconditioned and well equipped bungalows with hot water, spacious balcony and large garden area. If you do not like hanging around at the beach, try something else. the island has a few day-time activties like Kitesurfing, Dirtbike Rentals, Elefant Trekking, Jungle Trekking, Diving, Thaibox Fights, Yoga Lessons,a Chinese Temple and Cooking Lessons for Thai Food. There are concrete roads to Haad Rin, but we have warned you that the concrete roads are not in the best state and only if you are a competitant motorcycle rider then do not try to get to Had Rin, as most accidents involving motorbikes happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your scooter at the 7/11 at BaanTai and pay about 40 Baht for a taxi over the hills to Had Rin. As a natural paradise island in the Southern Gulf of Thailand, Koh Phan Gan serves as the perfect getaway retreat.
